Sanaya Irani was born on 17 Sept. Although she was born in Bombay she spent 7 years in boarding in Ooty. She did her graduation from Sydenham College and wanted to pursue an MBA degree but decided to become an actress.
Sanaya Irani had to face a lot of difficulties in the beginning of her career because Hindi was not her first language. She says when she was doing her first show shooting, her directors used to pronounce the whole word to her form the whole sentence and then she spoke her complete dialogues. Although this whole process was so difficult for her she worked hard and now she is fluent in Hindi.
Sanaya Irani initiated her career as a model. She made her 1st acting entrance with Yash Raj Films production Fanaa.
Sanaya Irani's 1st leading role was in STAR One's super hit show Miley Jab Hum Tum (2008-2010), as Gunjan. After this, she acted in the lead female character of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. This made her one of the most eminent and idolizes Indian TV actresses.
